Before Saint Baba Maharaj took samadhi, Saint Gulvani Maharaj, met him in Solapur. However, throughout their meeting, no words were exchanged—only a silent dialogue took place through their eyes.

Later, some disciples, filled with concern, asked Saint Gulvani Maharaj whether their beloved Saint Baba Maharaj would stay. To this, Saint Gulvani Maharaj replied, "Dattaguru has entrusted Baba with a great and divine mission, and he has accepted it. No matter how much one insists that he stays, he will not stay."

In a message sent by Saint Gulvani Maharaj after Saint Baba Maharaj took samadhi, he wrote:

"Chandrame je alanchan, Martanda je tapahin—
The saintliness described by Shri Dnyaneshwar was ever-awakened in Shri Baba. Through him, a new spiritual awakening has dawned upon the land of Maharashtra, as a Prarthana Prabhat—a prayerful dawn—imbued with the radiant hues of the eastern sky.

His sacred work, Divyamritdhara, will continue to shower the nectar of wisdom for centuries to come, allowing generations of devoted seekers to immerse themselves in its grace. Through this, they will effortlessly cleanse their impurities and attain the sweet offering of devotion at the feet of the Guru.
