Pratah-Smaran (Morning Remembrance)

With the rise of the sun in the morning, say these verses as unfailing mantras which will awaken the inner radiance of the self and usher in that sacred awareness. Their recitation kindles a conscious connection with one's true essence, allowing this awareness to weave through the day's actions and endeavors, transforming the entire day into a blessed offering to the divine. As the sun sets, the pure stream of these awakened emotions surrenders itself in pristine devotion, and in the tranquil depths of night, the ocean of sacred stillness swells in its fullness.

For a seeker of the divine, spiritual practice must become an intrinsic part of life itself. If it remains a mere ritual, disconnected from the rhythm of daily existence, life turns towards despondency. Thus, the luminous inspiration of the morning must uplift the entire day, ensuring that the night’s repose is infused with self-delight and serene tranquility—this is an essential purpose of life.

The mind, which dances through the three states of being—wakefulness, dream, and deep sleep—must be harmonized into a singular, blissful awareness. Through this sacred recitation, the seeker attains the supreme gift of the fourth state, Turiya, where all three states dissolve into the indivisible ecstasy of the Self. Without doubt, this practice grants the aspirant that ultimate realization.

Swatmadiksha

Before stepping into the world of Dharma*, the awakening of spiritual contemplation within the heart (Antaḥkarana) is essential. For life to become truly infused with Dharma, every earnest seeker must first attune themselves to the profound resonance of eternal truth—the mighty echo that expands the very temple of the spiritual path.

If this does not happen, there is a risk that you may once again fall into the age-old mistake of believing that mere ritualistic adherence is the entirety of Dharma. Therefore, awaken your inner self with the light of spiritual wisdom, and only then let your outward practices sanctify and elevate your entire life.

It is for this very purpose that the practice of ‘Swatmadiksha’ exists.

Prarthana (Evening Prayers)

Prayer is the means through which the inner realm of the heart attains stillness, where remembrance and devotion to the divine naturally arise. But to truly understand why we invoke the all-pervading lord in prayer, we must pour our hearts into it. There must be a divine impulse within—a call for the manifestation of consciousness. The tenderness of a child's cry should reside in our supplication, for only then can spiritual growth take place. When prayer is filled with pure love and serene surrender, the experience of the divine begins to unfold.

Varayachana (Night Remembrance)

This prayer must be said before falling asleep. In this practice, we offer all of our acts (or karma) of the day to the divine, as well as pray that the next day be spent in remembrance of the divine.
